Our beer was born from a simple but deep desire: to fit Lemnos into a glass. To take aromas, memories and flavors of the island and send them further, to distant places, where the Aegean Sea is not visible, but can still be imagined through a sip.
Each bottle is a small messenger of our place. It carries the light, the air, the earth and the character of Lemnos. It carries the power of simplicity, the truth of local raw materials and that warm feeling that a place has when it is not just a point on the map, but a piece of your heart.
We didn't just want to make a good beer. We wanted to make a taste that tells a story. A beer that unites the person who tastes it with an authentic, unpretentious and characterful place. A beer that, wherever it is opened, brings with it something of summer on the island, of fertile soil, of saltiness, of sun and of the scents of Lemnos.
For us, this beer is a way for the island to travel. To reach tables, homes and groups far from here, conveying not only taste, but also emotion. Like a small reminder that a place can continue to live inside you, even when you are far from it.
That is why every glass is not only a pleasure. It is a journey. A bond with Lemnos. An invitation to get to know our island not only with the look, but with the taste.

The History
“Limnia” was created to express a simple but essential idea: that the character of a place can be passed on to a beer, when the raw material, the intention and the aesthetics have a common direction.
At its core are three elements that define it: the thyme honey of Lemnos, which adds aromatic depth and a discreet sweetness, the “Limnos” wheat variety, which contributes to its body and identity, and the aromatic hops, which bring freshness and a modern pale ale expression.
“Limnia” does not try to describe Lemnos in words. It tries to render it through the glass — through the aromas, the taste, the balance and the memory it leaves.
It was created with respect for the raw material and with the aim of expressing a place in a modern, authentic way.

Our philosophy
“Limnia” was created with respect for the raw material and with the aim of standing out as a modern Greek beer with a clear character.
It does not simply seek to remind one of a place aesthetically. It seeks to express it in taste, aroma and essence.

Production in Greece
“Limnia” is produced by LDSPRO, based in Moudros, Lemnos.
We choose the gypsy brewery because it allows us to produce high-quality beer by utilizing existing and modern production infrastructure, without requiring the creation of a second new facility.
In this way, we combine stable quality control, technological excellence and a more rational use of resources.
Brewing is carried out in collaboration with the modern BABEL brewery in Keratea, in a facility that supports high production standards and consistency in the final result.

Raw Materials
We collaborate with selected local producers, strengthening the local economy and highlighting raw materials with authentic character and a clear place of origin.
The “Lemnos” wheat variety is a unique Greek variety, closely linked to the agricultural tradition of the island. Its value lies not only in its origin, but also in the character and identity it conveys as a raw material.
Similarly, the thyme honey of Lemnos expresses the uniqueness of the Lemnian land. It stands out for its intense aroma and complex flavor, condensing the light, air and herbs of the island into the same product.
